We recruit, fit, responsible people throughout the United Kingdom. Applicants come from mainly professional backgrounds, eg. police force, ex service personnel, teachers. Prospective pet and house sitters are thoroughly vetted and personally interviewed by our director. Their partners must also attend the interview to ensure that the integrity of Absentia is upheld.

Our team of pet and house sitters will use their discretion and objectivity with regard to the length of time that they are away from your home. They will not depart until you return home. They follow our hand-over procedure and will ask for your signature. They are not allowed to have visitors at your property without prior agreement from you.

We choose the most suitable member of our team for your home and pets: Whether you need a dog walker, cat lover or somebody to keep an eye on your animals at grass.

We monitor each assignment and telephone you on your return to confirm that you were satisfied.
