"In 1985 I acquired a 4 month old puppy who had been kept locked up all of her life. She was so traumatised that putting her in kennels whilst we were on holiday was not possible. Having looked at other options and finding nothing that catered for our needs, I decided to start my own House sitting and Pet sitting service.
I wanted to create a company with a unique and personal service which offered Peace of Mind whilst our clients were away. At Absentia we carefully select our house sitters and match them to our client's individual needs. We are very fortunate to have clients who return to us year after year and who continue to recommend us - what better compliment could we have?
